A member of Doug Wiley’s team in the Manhattan office, Cheryl is responsible for account administration, setting up and monitoring the team’s accounts, as well as trust and estate settlement. She's also our resident tea expert, a talented seamstress, a Nebraska native and devoted Husker fan.
Cheryl has provided administrative support for accounting and financial planning firms since 1978, joining The Trust Company in 2005. She has completed the Advanced Trust School of the Schools of Banking. She handles many responsibilities related to charitable gift planning and administration. But making sure clients are well cared for is her top priority.
Once, a client who lived in a retirement community with no family nearby, needed some new clothes and turned to Cheryl for help. It was an unusual request, but one Cheryl was happy to accept, because she knew it meant that the client trusted and relied on her as a friend.
“That’s what drew me to this job — the idea that customer service goes beyond administering accounts. It's the personal relationships that really matter.”
Cheryl and her husband, Mirv, have three grown children — Kristin, Clayton and Kaci.
She is a stockholder of The Trust Company.
