A 2015 addition to The Trust Company’s Lawrence team, Jason manages investment, retirement plan, and trust accounts for individuals, businesses and nonprofit clients.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas, and a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University, in Kansas City.
He was awarded the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association, in 2016. Prior to joining The Trust Company, Jason specialized in all types of retirement plans, employee benefits and insurance, holding Series 6 and Series 63 Securities licenses.
True to his western Kansas farming roots, Jason holds himself to the highest of standards in business and in life.

Jason is passionate about giving back to the Lawrence community, and supports several local organizations with his time and expertise. He currently is completing his term as board president of Lawrence Habitat for Humanity and serves as treasurer for Lawrence Area Partners in Aging. He also is a member of the board of DCCCA and chairs its investment committee.
Jason considers his family both his greatest mission and greatest accomplishment. He devotes his personal time to being present in the lives of his three very active teenagers, Peyton, Madilynn and Breydon.
