Vice President and Trust Officer
Polly established The Trust Company’s Columbia office in 2012, serving as manager and priding herself on extremely close relationships with her clients.
“The needs of our clients are my highest priority. We try to exceed expectations every day and contribute to our clients’ lives in ways that are much more than just financial.”
Polly graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. An avid golfer, she also holds the distinction of being the only CPA in the country who once sang back-up for Reba McEntire. (This record is probably unverifiable, but c’mon…doesn’t it seem likely?)
Prior to joining The Trust Company (but after singing with Reba), Polly was a vice president and trust officer of Landmark Bank in Columbia. She was also a CPA at Kemper CPA Group in Evansville, Indiana, and helped build its wealth management division (Kemper Capital Management).
Famously intolerant of texting and driving, but also famously valuing very close relationships with her clients, Polly is the go-to woman for people who want her by their side when things are tough.
She is very involved in the Columbia community, having served on the board of Meals on Wheels, and as a member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Network, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Missouri Society of CPAs, Mid-Missouri Estate Planning Council, and Leadership Columbia.
Polly and her husband, Keith, have two grown children and two grandchildren.
She is a stockholder of The Trust Company.
