We recently bade farewell to our receptionist of more than six years, Chris Lohman. Her husband, Chad, was presented with a professional opportunity that led them to a new adventure in California. We wish the Lohman family much success and happiness as they embark on this journey.

Thankfully, Arika Ryan joined us in June to help fill Chris’s shoes! Arika received a Bachelor of Science in Apparel & Textile Marketing from Kansas State University in 2005. Prior to joining The Trust Company, she held management positions at Gap, Inc. and was a receptionist for Stone Creek Family Physicians in Manhattan. Her husband, Phil, is a real estate professional with Ryan & Sons Realtors in Manhattan.

 

We also welcomed Preston Schotte in June, as Associate Trust Officer. He’s working alongside senior staff to serve personal trust, investment management, and institutional clients. Prior to joining The Trust Company, Preston was with NYLIFE Securities, LLC where he held Series 6 and Series 63 Securities licenses. He received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Kansas State University in 2013 and will receive his MBA from K-State in December 2018. Preston’s wife, Sarah, is an Audiologist with Associated Audiologists in Manhattan.
