All of us at The Trust Company send our best wishes and hope you are faring well in this challenging time. Many clients have expressed concern for our employees’ welfare. We are grateful to be associated with such caring individuals, and we are happy to report that as of today everyone is doing fine. We’re also fortunate to have been well prepared beforehand for the prospect of conducting business in a virtual environment.
Although many of our employees are working remotely, as a financial institution, The Trust Company is considered an essential service provider. As such, we are exempted from travel restrictions and our staff may travel to and from our places of business and other business-related destinations to ensure the delivery of critical services and continuous access to our clients’ financial accounts. However, please be aware of the following:
- We have limited staff on-site at any given time as per stay-at-home orders in Kansas and Missouri. Please call 800-285-7878 or contact an advisor directly if you wish to speak with one of our staff. Our main switchboard is still being answered by our Receptionists during regular business hours.
- Advisors and Account Administrators are available as always to discuss your accounts and financial plans and assist with other matters. For your convenience, we have compiled a listing of direct dial phone numbers and email addresses on our Website: https://thetrustco.com/contact/staff-contact-information.
- Secure VPN technology provides us remote access to our computer systems, allowing us to continue conducting business as usual. Even if your advisor happens to be working from home, you can be assured that they are working in a secure environment with all necessary data access, while staying healthy and safe.
It has been truly inspiring to see our entire team pitch in to make these adjustments. Again, we are here for you, so please do not hesitate to call us at either 800-285-7878 or directly if you have any questions or concerns.
